Family Guy

"Family Guy" is an American animated television series created by Seth MacFarlane. The show premiered on January 31, 1999, on Fox, following the Griffin family—Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, and their anthropomorphic dog Brian—in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. Known for its cutaway gags, satirical humor, and often controversial content, the show faced initial cancellation in 2002 after three seasons due to declining ratings. However, it gained a significant cult following through reruns on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and strong DVD sales, leading Fox to revive the series on May 1, 2005. Since then, "Family Guy" has become one of the longest-running animated series.
